THE CLASH Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg (1981)
This is a re-post. Not only an updated link... as THE CLASH are more than just a band to me.
In 1981 THE CLASH recorded what should have been released as "Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg" but was released in 1982 as "Combat Rock".
The original version of "Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg" was produced by Mick Jones and is nowadays known as "the original Combat Rock".
RPFFB consists of two cds whereas cd 1 is the regular album and cd 2 is some kind of remix album. Some of the remixes were later released on "Super Black Market Clash".
The album on discogs.

ANTHONY REYNOLDS British Ballads (2007)
After three records and one or two EPs ANTHONY RENOLDS' band JACK split and he released the wonderful "British Ballads" in 2007 as solo artist.
Compared with JACK it has more of some kind of story teller feeling, less of the band power punch in the face.
His voice is marvellous. Unique. Outstanding.
Enjoy

MARK HOLLIS a.k.a. JOHN COPE Piano (1998) Missing Pieces (2001)
From the album "AV 1" from Phil Brown and Dave Allison.
"Piano" featured MARK HOLLIS hidden under the B-side-inspired pseudonym John Cope and managed to be deliberate without being frustrating, unsettling but never futuristic, and an enduringly eerie achievement.
The song appeared later on the album "Missing Pieces" that features the 3CD-Single Box "After The Flood" plus "Piano".
Download "Piano".
To the immortal memory of great MARK HOLLIS.
